Coming off Antidepressants

You may have very good reasons for coming off antidepressants. If you do make that decision, there are some important things to know and plan for, to help you make the transition well.

  • Tell friends and family what you intend to do so that they can support you through the process.

  • Continue to eat well and get plenty of sleep.

  • Try and get regular fresh air and exercise.

  • Choose a good time, where there are not too many tricky things for you to deal with going on.
